Experienced commercial real estate solicitor, Leanne Macdonald, joins DJB.
Leanne specialises in commercial real estate work including transactional and development cases, with more recent emphasis on the residential development sector including private rental portfolio transactions and registered provider partnership arrangements.
Alongside DJB, Leanne is Real Estate Legal Director for Keepmoat Homes, where she oversees property legal advice for acquisition and disposal transactions, among other things. She has advised the Keepmoat board on various government housing, collaborative developer and other partnership delivery schemes, setting up and overseeing land governance processes as well as introducing and standardising legal and regulatory documents. This has given her a greater depth of understanding of the commercial, operational, financial and practical issues facing organisations.
Prior to working in-house, Leanne’s private practice experience as a commercial property specialist spans over 15 years with leading regional law firms.
