Davitt Jones Bould (DJB), the UK’s largest firm specialising entirely in real estate law, has been named as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Public Sector Panel. This is the 20th consecutive year that DJB is appointed to the service if counting its previous forms.
The new framework - RM6240 replaces RM3788 which expires on the 30 September 2022. The panel of law firms, chosen during a rigorous competitive process, is available to all public sector organisations including those operating in the central government, local government, education, non-profit and health sectors among others.
Crown Commercial Service supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2021/22, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £2.8 billion - supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.
Public sector organisations will be able to appoint DJB for legal services via Direct Award or by holding a further competition.
Madeleine Davitt, Senior Partner at DJB, commented:
“The 20th consecutive year that DJB has been on the CCS panel and its previous versions cements our place as a leading real estate law firm to the public sector. During this time, we have been providing high-level advice, including on some famous landmarks such as 10 Downing Street, House of Lords, Old Admiralty Building and Horse Guards Parade. We are thrilled to be working with CCS once again to provide the best quality legal services to the public sector entities.”
