Experienced agricultural property lawyer, Nicola Boaden, has joined DJB as Partner.
Nicola has experience in transactional and editorial legal services and lecturing in law. She worked with the Agriculture & Rural Land Team at Thomson Reuters Practical Law as a Senior Editor during a time of significant change in the agricultural industry (2019-20: Covid-19 movement restrictions and EU withdrawal). She also ran land law modules for Oxford Brookes University on their Land Management BSc and MSc programmes.
Her transactional law experience has covered work with specialist agricultural property law teams in respected firms including Henmans, Blake Lapthorn, Moore Blatch and Burges Salmon.
Nicola is also a qualified personal trainer and nutritional therapist, with an MSc in personalised nutrition, which she pursues alongside her legal career.
“Davitt Jones Bould is a progressive law firm that actively encourages its lawyers and support staff to engage with their personal and professional activities. Nicola’s versatile interests and skills are a great fit for us in this respect. Furthermore, her experience of supporting various law firms as a consultant aligns with one of DJB’s service propositions to our law firm clients. Nicola’s addition strengthens our overall offering as it is important for us as real estate specialists to cover every aspect of the industry.” – Peter Allinson, CEO
