Malcolm Iley has joined specialist Real Estate law firm Davitt Jones Bould (“DJB”) as a Non-Executive Director. Malcolm will assist the firm and its Local Authority clients on large-scale town and city centre regeneration projects.
Malcolm has been consistently recognised over many years in the leading professional directories, including Chambers and Legal 500, as a leading adviser, quoted and referred to as having a “stellar” reputation in regeneration projects and as a leader in public law and administration, outsourcing of services and major project delivery.
Malcolm has over 40 years’ experience in advising both the public and private sectors in the procuring, managing, financing and delivery of major projects and programmes, service delivery partnerships and joint ventures, particularly in the regeneration field, including land assembly and CPOs (having been involved in the promotion of over 100 CPOs, including Urban Development Corporations), Asset Backed Vehicles (ABVs) and related compliance and governance issues, including Treasury accounting officer matters.
The firm continues to advise on a number of the Country’s largest regeneration projects including the Local Asset Backed £1 Billion regeneration of Slough and the £1 Billion development of a new Garden City in Welbourne.
