Advised an international logistics company on a range of estates management legal work. This project included advising on a number of new leases as well as provision of corporate support on the purchase of competitor companies, including the acquisition of freehold property and transfers of existing leases.
Advised on the acquisition of two multi-million pound industrial estates from a UK institutional investor within a tight deadline, including undertaking due diligence work and advising on environmental issues.
Acted in connection with a complex Promotion Agreement representing 4 separate landowners in relation to approximately 12 acres of land in a significant site close to Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal. This included the drafting and negotiation of a Collaboration Agreement to cater for the differing timing and other requirements of the different landowners.
Advised an investment company on the £12 million acquisition of a European HQ, a 170,680sq ft warehouse and office building.
Acted for a landlord on the expansion of various industrial units to meet the requirements of their tenant including a composite Agreement for Lease, 3 new Leases, licences for alterations and dealing with construction issues.
Advised a local authority on the £11.9 million acquisition of a 193,576sq ft warehouse.
