John is a retail sector specialist with over 40 years' experience. He was Managing Partner and Head of Retail at Healey & Baker, and was then appointed as the Global Head of Retail at Cushman & Wakefield where he oversaw their Worldwide business of almost 1000 retail property professionals. On leaving the Partnership, John joined the Board of Intu plc, then a FTSE 100 company with one of the largest shopping centre portfolios in the UK, Spain & India. In 2016 he was appointed Chairman. After the break-up of Intu, he became Chairman of CWM Surveyors which was later sold to CBRE. John is on the Advisory Board of True Global, a $1 billion PE fund investing in retail businesses & is a consultant to p-three, the real estate advisory firm.
